Is this product safe for both me and my child?
I am the developer of the Child Safe Tee (and the parent of 3 children all under the age of 7). As part of our research for our product, we got input from police and rescue professionals (in part noted in the testimonials which appear in our ad). None of those professionals indicated that any child wearing our product would be exposed to any danger from it’s' use. All indicated the opposite. Those questions and concerns were in the forefront of our minds as we developed this product.
Please remember that AT NO TIME SHOULD THE CHILD'S NAME APPEAR ON ANY SAFETY PRODUCT SUCH AS OURS Moms name shouldn't appear either. This has all been very carefully thought out by us. That is why we consulted with the appropriate professionals FIRST before we began our marketing.
As to phone numbers and moms, that, too, was of concern to us. But we spoke to a number of "moms", and in each case "mom" noted that if she thought that would be a problem, the phone number on the shirt would be "dads" or someone else's who could quickly call mom to meet the person who found the child at a Very Public neutral and safe location.
Our product is designed to help return the LOST CHILD to his/her parent or get appropriate medical attention in an emergency when "Mom & Dad" aren't there.
NO ONE (and frankly no device) can prevent a predator from taking a child under bad circumstances. That is the nightmare of all parents. But think of how much safer it is for a child wearing our shirt to be "passed over" by a predator and have that predator seek another child (god forbid) than to take our child wearing an EASILY SEEN SIGN. It is the very same reason why robbers go to the homes which DO NOT HAVE SECURITY SYSTEMS WITH SIGNS ADVERTISING THAT FACT and seek the ones which do not have those signs.
If you are still concerned you do have the option to have us print your contact information on the inside bottom of the tee as show on the home page hiding the information from public view.

When should my child wear a
Child Safe Tee?
We suggest putting a
Child Safe Tee on your child when attending large public populated areas. Our customers wear them at the following locations: airport, park, theme park, zoo, school field trip, museum, local fairs/carnival mall, etc.
Why should I put a
Child Safe Tee on my child?
As the parents of wandering toddlers, we know the terrifying fear of having a “misplaced” child. In the event your child becomes accidentally separated from you in a large populated place, a
Child Safe Tee will allow someone to quickly locate you and reunite you with your child.
Can I put my child’s name on the
Child Safe Tee?
We have chosen not to include the child’s name as an added precaution.
Can you make our phone numbers a little more hidden from public view?
Absolutely! You have the choice of the phone numbers printed on the bottom front of the
Child Safe Tee or hidden on the inside front of t-shirt.
How long will it take to receive my
Child Safe Tee?
We typically ship orders out within 10-15 working days, but under some circumstances, we may take longer.
Child Safe Tee is not responsible for delays in shipping caused by the US Postal Service.
How much is the shipping cost?
You pay only a small flat rate shipping charge of $3.95 per order. The shipping charge is the same no matter how many
Child Safe Tees you order.

Will my shirt shrink?
Your shirt is made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton an will have minimal shrinkage. Depending on the sweatshirt color ordered, it will either be made of 100% cotton or 50% Poly / 50% Cotton.
Do your shirts run large or small?
Our shirts are standard sizing. Take a look at a few standard shirts your little one already has and order the same size.
Will the logo on my shirt wash out quickly?
No, we use the finest inks on the market so you will have good resistance to washing. The inks we use dye the shirt so you don't feel the print, unlike silkscreening reacting slightly different but still offering good durability.
Will you be adding new designs?
We continually add to our product line so check back frequently.
Why can't I put the phone numbers on the inside of a sweatshirt?
The fabric on the inside of a sweatshirt is not printable.
